Keeping a High Vibration

This article could be a deeply complex and intricate one, however today, let’s touch upon the key factors. Vibrations, or vibes are commonly known as an atmosphere or a signal that people emit. However, from a spiritual perspective, raising your vibration, means adding and changing all the components in your life that raise your energy levels on the inside. Emotional, Physical & Mental factors all play a role in raising your vibration. We are all energetic beings, our energy is our essence, who we are. Felt by everybody, especially yourself.

Why is this so important? To put it simply, you are in your natural element. Light, carefree, joyous, loving, thinking with clarity and best of all- ready to attract and draw things that can enhance your life.

So how do we raise our vibration?

  • Practice gratitude. Scientifically proven and a sworn by method by many celebrities, such as Oprah Winfrey, practicing daily gratitude enhances our mood and enables us to appreciate where we are right now. Only when we appreciate what exists in the present can we change the future. Create from the present. It also shifts your focus and perspective to appreciate all the positives in your life. For instance, if you are reading this you have access to a computer or phone that enables you to source beneficial information. So many people in the world do not have that blessing. Often we take the simplest things for granted, but once taken away, we see how much we relied upon them. Thoughts become things and the more you focus on what you have, the more you WILL have.
  • Eating and drinking well. Our bodies are our first homes. They serve us and physically carry out our thoughts and desires. Eat well and consume things that will enable your body to function at it’s best and feel the best it can be.This in turn will influence your mind.
  • Connect to nature. We are nature through and through. Nothing can ground or rejuvenate us more than connecting to the essence of what we are. Mentally, emotionally and spiritually, nature can raise our vibration in all of these areas enormously.
  • Be mindful of your self talk. Pay attention to what you tell YOURSELF not what you portray to the world. If you nourish yourself with good thoughts and beliefs, you will feel the effects and feel inspired to act based on these beliefs. Also, what you say about others has a huge impact on your vibration. If it feels good to talk badly about others, that is usually a deep rooted indicator that you feel badly about yourself. Time is short, so why waste it speaking negatively?
  • Surround yourself with good people. This is so important. Your body tells you things about the people that the mind often chooses to ignore. Just like consuming healthy food is important, so is feeding yourself with the correct external energies. We will discuss this as an individual topic in another article, but remember, anything or anyone that consistently threatens your peace of mind or drags you down or into their mess- will drag down your vibration and block your blessings. Be around people that uplift and seek to grow.
  • Get creative. We are a part of creation and we are creators. So by getting creative, we stimulate our inner powers and bring forth inner visions into the physical form, so by finding a creative hobby or healthy & creative form of expression, you can raise your vibration significantly.
  • Meditate and Pray. Very important. Taking time out to connect to yourself and the higher power re-installs your faith, your peace of mind, and can comfort your heart. You will be surprised how much better you feel by taking the time to do this. Try to do it as consistently as you can in order to maintain a high vibration.

All of the above will work wonders in maintaining and raising your vibration. With a high vibration, you attract better things into your life and your outer world begins to reflect the very best of you. We all have infinite potential within us, so it is important to ensure we consciously make efforts to feel good and maintain a high vibration to access the best of ourselves and the abundance that the world has to offer.
